* ' SECRETARY , RESIGNS The secretary of the Opotiki Hospital Board, Mr. J. T. Merry, who has occupied the position for 14 years, tendered ills resignation at the monthly meeting. He stated that he found it practically impossible to secure skilled clerical assistance. The chairman, Mr. S, Maxwell, expressed the appreciation of the members for the service rendered by Mr. Merry.
