A conference of representatives of the Railways Departm6nt, road ■ transport interests, and the Transport 'Department was held in Wellington this week, when consideration was given to all aspects of the I problem of the cb-ordination of . land freight transport services in •New Zealand. The recommendations of the 'conference are to be submitted to the Government.
