WAIROA LADIES' GOLF
CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING MRS T. CARROLL PRESIDENT (Special to tho Harald.) WAIROA, this day. The annual meeting of the Wairoa Ladies' Golf Club was held on Friday evening in Osier's Hall, being attended bv all the enthusiastic members of the club. Mrs. Don Glengarry was elected to the chair. A report was read from the retiring president, Miss I. W. Bain, the members expressing sympathy with her in her recent painful accident. The following officers were elected; President, Mrs. Turi Carroll; vicepresident, Mrs. C. R. Sainsbury; captain, Mrs. Don Glengarry; secretary, Miss Thelma Heaven; joint handicap managers, Mrs. Wynne-Jones and Mrs Goldstone; committee, Mrs. Ryan and Mrs. Crichton, Mrs. MeCrea and Mrs. M. B. Svensen. Various, recommendations were made 'to the incoming committee to be dealt with in committee. Members later participated in supper at ••Candyland."
