Chamnion Handicap, of £6OO (3.23) 1£ miles.—2-1 Sandusky, scr. (C. G. Smith), 1; 4-4 Our Peggy, scr. (Stewart), 2; 3-2 Colonel Grattan, scr. (Holmes), 3. Scratched: Toorak, and Lawn Derby. Won by a length; a head. Times, 3.18, 3.18 1-5, 3.18 2-5. The winner was bracketed with Bexley Girl and Nervie’s Last.
