COR “Carefree” five new melodies f have been specially composed' by Irving Berlin. “Carefree” deals with the stormy romance between Miss Rogers, an actress; Astaire, a psychiatrist, and Ralph Bellamy, a lawyer. Engaged to Miss Rogers, Bellamy sends her to Astaire for diagnosis, when she keeps postponing their wedidng date. She finds herself falling in love with Astaire, who, shocked, tries to switch her affections back to Bellamy—then discovers' he is in love with her himself. He endeavours to change the situation again, and is blocked by the results of his own hypnotic treatments and by the conniving of Bellamy, who is trying to marry Miss Rogers in a hurry before Astaire can interfere.
