Unusual Diet
The Perth Cup candidate, Galerius. is being trained on raw eggs, boiled potatoes, and boiled rice. This five-year-old, who is by the ex-New Zealand horse Agrion, eats more than three dozen raw eggs each week. As a youngster, Galerius, who is trained at Fremantle by A. Cooper, had a bad I attack ot strangles. A veterinary I surgeon said he should be destroyed, but G. Herring, stable foreman, saved him. He prescribed the strange diet on which Galerius thrives. ■
