£.12,000 RANK ROBBERY
NEW YORK, Nov. 11.’ Two bandits dressed as State troopers stopped a bank messenger two miles from Newcastle, Indiana, and robbed him of a wallet containing £12,000, after which they left him handcuffed to the steering-wheel of his car. The money had been drawn to pay the wages of the employees at the Chrysler motor works.
