TEN THOUSAND SCOUTS
BRADFIELD JAMBOREE BOYS IN MAORI DRESS (Reed. Dec. 29, 1.15 pan.) SYDNEY, Dec. 29. Ten thousand Boy Scouts, many from overseas, are taking part in the Australian and New Zealand Jamboree, which was opened to-day at Bradfield. ‘Lord Hampton went into camp to-day. An elaborate Maori pa has been erected .by the New Zealand Scouts, and yesterday they staged- a preliminary dance of welcome. The boys wore Maori dress and were armed with native weapons.
