REVENUE DEFICIENCY
BRITISH EXCHEQUER COST OF ARMAMENTS (In(lmpendent Cable Service.) Reed. Doc. 29, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 28. The Exchequer returns up to December 24 show a revenue deficiency of £242,500,000, which is £75,000,000 greater than the 1937 figure, largely due to the increase in the defence expenditure.
