“FOOLPROOF” PUTTER, LONDON, Dec. 8. Professor A. M. Low, the famous scientist, has invented an ingenious device to make putting foolproof. The putter has .a flashlamp attached to the lower end of the shaft, and a red light is shown immediately the clubhead is moved off the straight line, indicating instantly whether one is pulling or slicing. The Daily Telegraph says it does not suppose that St. Andrews will tolerate the device in actual play.
