The Wellington lawn tennis championships were completed to-day. except for the men’s doubles in which W. G. Shortland and D. G. France have to play N. Edwards and N. Dyer, who beat, the New Zealand doubles champions, E. A. Roussell and R. Perkins. Results: — Men’s Singles Final.—N. V. Edwards d. E. A. Roussell, 6—4, 3—G, 3 —G, G —2, 10—8. Women’s Singles.—Miss M. Hardcastle d. Miss T. Rice, G —4, 6—2. These two are the visiting Australians. Women’s Doubles.—Misses T. Rice and M. Hardcastle d. Misses J. Douthett and E. Plummer, 2—G, G —4, G —3.
