CAUGHT BY AVALANCHE
THIRTY-NINE KILLED OVER FORTY MISSING (Reed. Dec. 28, 2.40 p.m.) TOKIO, Dec. 27. Thirty-nine people were killed and 11 injured, while 43 are missing as a result of an avalanche which swept over a water power station which was under construction at Shiadani in the Toyama prefecture.
