PEDESTRIAN PARALYSED
HIT BY MOT OR-CYCLE PILLION RIDER INJURED (Per Press Association.) HOKITIKA, this day. ■Struck toy a motor-cycle at 11.20 fast night, Charles Leslie Harman received serious injuries to his head and spine, being paralysed. The pillion rider, Miss Henderson, was rendered unconscious 'by head injuries. Mr. Harman is in a serious condition, tout Miss Henderson’s is satisfactory. The identity of the rider of the motor-cycle has not been established, as he disappeared after the accident. Mrs. Harman, who was walking with her husband, received a slight injury.
