LONDON WOOL SALES PRICES MAINTAINED (Kloc. Toll CopyrightI—United 1 —United Press Assn.) (Reed. Dec. 3, 1.30 pun.) LONDON, Dec. 2. At the wool sales, 8230’ bales Were offered-, including 2344 from New Zealand, and 7159 bales were sold. The demand was better, and withdrawals less frequent. Rates generally were maintained, the home trade being the chief buyer. Sales included: Greasy halfbred, New Zealand, Acland, BJd. Cabled- ad-v'ice from London dated December 2 has 'been receivd as follows by the Bank of New Zealand: — “The wool market is not quite so good. Prices for super wools are firm, tout average sorts -are selling in (buyers’ favour.”
