TRANS PER TO WELLINGTON
A. Brown, the Grammar Old Boys and Auckland Rugby representative forward, left Auckland on Thursday night for Wellington, where he is 'to join the police force. Brown, who is one of the fastest forwards playing in New Zealand, has represented Auckland continuously since 1935. His ability 'to handle the ball accurately, combined with his exceptional speed, has made him a dangerous scoring man.
