Owing to the indisposition of the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, the Supreme Court has been adjourned to Monday morning.

It is understood that Sir Michael is suffering from a mild form of laryngitis, for which he received medical advice.

The Chief Justice was to have presided at the quarterly sessions of the Supreme Court in Gisborne next week, commencing on Tuesday, but late this morning no advice had been received as to whether the arrangements would be proceeded with.
