RESIGNATION RUMOURS

A message from Geneva states that rumours of 'the resignation from the League of high officials are officially denied.
The budgetary economies committee, which is regarded as a reorganising committee for the staffs of the secretariat and the International Labour Office is sitting at on November 15.
This, The Times points out. will restrain, at least temporarily, the rumours of resignations and dismissals. It adds that the somewhat vague denial implies that officials leaving are doing so as a result of reductions and changes already decided upon.
