The Prague correspondent of The Times says it is understood that after the completion of the occupation of the fifth zone in the area ceded bv O.choslovakia to Germany, the German Government has made it known that it has called a halt. thereby suggesting that there will be no plebiscites. So far demands for plebiscites have not been made by either the Czechs or the Germans It is unlikely thai the Czechs would win a plebiscite in the zones already under German occupation, and the. Germans are not anxious for plebiscites outside those arras. Legion Awaits Orders Members of the British Legion who have been assembled at O'ympia since Friday waiting tor orders to proceed to Czechoslovakia to police the plebiscite areas are leaving there tomorrow and are travelling to Tilbury docks, where they will be housed on board ship pending further instructions. Until the international commission, which is again meeting to-day, gives its decision respecting the plebiscites, the legion will be in the dark as to whether they will be required, though. the weight of facts indicates that they will not b'* r.eedeo.
