COMPULSORY TRAINING
SOME FORM REQUIRED VIEW OF EX-SERVICEMEN (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The opinion that some form of compulsory military training should be introduced in New Zealand was expressed by several members o* the executive of the Dunedin Returned Soldiers' Association last evening, when a circular letter was received from the New Zealand Defence League asking that citizens should form a branch of that organisation in this city. It was agreed by the speakers that excellent work was being 'done by the Territorial Association, but that the matter was one of extreme urgency and further measures than those within the power of the association should be adopted without delay.
