ARRIVAL ON MAHIA TRIP l-'ROM QUEENSLAND (IVr Pn-ss Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Charles Cyril Egerton Spencer, aged :.':',, a ship's fireman, who sloped away in the iYlahia when the vessel left Gladstone. Queensland, was arrested en the Mania's arrival at New Plymouth yesterday. A New Zealander by birth, he was sentenced by the magistrate, Mr. W. H. Woodward, to seven days' imprisonment with hard labour.
