IMPORTANT AMENDMENT PAYMENT FOR HOLIDAYS The importance of an amendment placed on the Statute Book during the last session of Parliament and affecting the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, was pointed out by Auckland employers, who this week receive:! copies of the amendment. It takes the form of an additional section, number 17. to this Act and amends section 14 of the Factories Act. with regard to the employment of casual workers within a certain time r.l a statutory holiday.
