EXPERT ON DEFENCE
AUSTRALIAN POSITION LONDON, July 26. Mr. R. R. Sedgwick, who is ranked as a principal at the Dominions Office, has been appointed to succeed Mr. P. Liesching, as official secretary to the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in Australia, says the political correspondent of the Australian Associated Press. 'Mr. Sedgwick will go to Canberra in September. The appointment, which is for three years, is significant in that Mr. Sedgwick is an expert on governmental aspects of Imperial defence.
