SAT UHDA Y’ S POSTINGS 9 At a meeting of the Poverty Bay Hockey Umpire’s Association last night, it was reported that a theory examination was to be held on August 19 and that Mr. R. J. Surgeno*- had been appointed supervisor. Nominations from the Poverty Bay Hockey Association were Messrs. J. Turbitt, G. File, H. Swan, B. Tuhoe, I. Douglas and T. Tuhoe. Appointments of umpires for Saturday’s games were made as follows: — Men’s Senior A Grade.—Caledonian v. Defence, No. 1 ground, 3.15 p.m., Messrs. J. Henderson and R. ,1. Surgenor; Muriwai v Y.M.C.A. A, No. 2, 2.15 p.m., Messrs. 11. A. Armstrong and G. Graham; Foresters, a bye. Men’s Senior B Grade. —'Waituhi v. High School, High School ground, 1.30 p.m., Messrs. G. Langhorne and ,1.
