A large boardinghouse which has been a well-known landmark at Omiha, Waihekc, for 20 years, is being demolished. The materials are to be towed on a barge to Ostend, a distance of about three miles’, whence they will be transported a further two miles to Palm Beach. They will be used in the erection of a boardinghouse there.
