AMENDED DRAW

WAIROA GOLF CLUB JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP (Spocial to the Horald.) WAIROA, this day, Owing to some cards being put in after the box was cleared last Saturday, it has been found necessary to alter the draw for the Wairou Golf Club's junior championship. The amended draw is as follows, and the one published previously is now obsolete:—R. C. Bauld, jun., plays C. H. P. Ryan; F. Wynne-Jones plays W. G. Sainsbury; R. M. McDonald plays G. Duncan; O. J. Pinel plays A. B. Thomson; T.- S. Hawke plays C. Brownlie; D. Gilkison plays G. Steedman; R. C. Bauld, sen., plays J. Prebble: H. Cooke plays A. S. Martin. The draw for the Paeroa Cup remains the same, with the exception of N. McQueen plays J. Thornley and H. Trewby plays C. R. Sainsbury. The draw sheets for the senior and junior championship and the Paeroa Cup will be posted up in the clubhouse before the week-end and competitors are advised to read these and acquaint themselves ' with the rules governing each competition. Attention is drawn to the rule in the senior and junior championships that in the event of the match being halved at the eighteenth hole, play must be continued until one player wins a hole. For the Paeroa Cup competition, in the event of the match being halved at the eighteenth hole, a further five holes must be played on handicap.
