Union Airways' plane was not able to leave Gisborne early this morning for Napier and Palmerston North on account of the Hooded condition 01 Darton Field aerodrome and the unfavourable Hying conditions in southern districts. It was hoped to dispatch the plane early this afternoon, but a report, from Napier stated that there was a south-westerly gale blowing there and the visibility was 'bad. It is planned to send the machine to Napier at 8.30 a.m. to-morrow, returning immediately to Gisborne for a further load of passengers. The machine will leave Gis'bome again at 8.10 a.m. and after calling at Napier will reach Palmerston North about 10.10 a.m., connecting with the southbound plane on the main trunk route.
