The .stormy weather this morning did not prevent Union Airways' plane from .making a double trip between Gisfoorne and Napier. After making her .second trip to Napier, the machine proceeded on to Palmerslon North to connect with the southbound planes of the main trunk route. There was a large quantity of surface water at Darton Field yesterday and a pump was utilised to remove some of the water in the vicinity of the hangar, where it was wbout Ift. deep in places. By this morning most of the water had been removed, but the was very muddy.
