Mr. L. W. Paters, a pioneer of gliding in Hamilton, recently completed his C mechanic's examination in England. He had previously secured the A and B licenses. Mr. Peters, who is now employed by British Airways, has served on the ground staffs at Gatwick and Croydon aerodromes, and for two months was second-in-charge of the company's engineering staff at Le bouiget, Paris.
