A number of married men employed on public works are anxious to return to fanning pursuits, but are prevented from dome bv a shortage of houses for married farm employees. The Wanganui placement oflieer states that this is one of the greatest difficulties being met with by his department in finding positions ’on farms. Married men wit!) families find that there are few farms which can nrovide them with a home for their families.
