TE KARAKA NEWS
R.S.A. EUCHRE TOURNEY (Herald Correspondent.) Despite unfavourable weather conditions, there was a good attendance at the euchre tournament held in the Waikohu Hall, Te Karaka, on Thursday, the proceeds being donated to the* local branch of the Returned Soldiers’ Association.
Mr. J. Goodley controlled the games and at the conclusion announced the following prize-win-ners:—Ladies. —Misses Joan Kyne and Joyce Wilkins. Gentlement.— Messrs. J. Atkins and M. Mullooly.
