TAPESTRY'S SUCCESS (Reed. June 27, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 27. At the Canterbury races on Saturday, the Vailmond colt, Gambier won the first, division of the Juvenile Handicap. The veteran, Tapestry won the Canterbury Handicap from Bachelor King and Fountain. Limoux was unplaced. Fantan was third in the first division of the Park Stakes. The Palmist and Rebel Chief ran unplaced in the Canterbury Ladies’ Bracelet for amateur riders.
