ATTITUDE OF GERMANY ] jONDON CONVERSATIONS (British Qffieinl Wireless.) Reed. 1.15 p.m. RUGBY, June 23. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sir John Simon, was asked in the House of Commons what action he was taking in view of the declared default of Germany on the Austrian loans.
He said that as negotiations were now taking place in London with ”c----presentatives of Germany he was not at present in a position, to make any further statement.
