ROAD PAVING COSTS

BIG SAVING EFFECTED ALMOST OUT IN HALF i NEW PREPARATION USED The cost of road paving under a new system known as plant mix was cut nearly in half on three short sec-; tions done in the borough recently, j according to a report submitted by the .borough engineer, Mr. E. R Thomas, to the Gisborne Borough Council's meeting last night. "I have to report very satisfactory results in comiection with the plant mix paving work' recently undertaken." Mr. Thomas stated.
