WOMEN'S CRICKET
N.Z. TEAM MANAGER Mrs. D. Simons, of Wellington, has been appointed manageress of the New Zealand women's cricket team to visit Australia early in the New Year. The appointment was made by the New Zealand Women's Cricket Council at a meeting in Christchurch. Mrs. Simons has been actively connected with the Wellington Women's Cricket Association since it was formed some years ago, and is the secretary of that body, as well as being captain of the Wellington Women's Cricket Club.
