SECTIONS FINALISED TOTAL OP 2895 RECEIVED After a final check of the entries or the Poverty Bay A. and P. Show, he secretary, Mr. W. E. Chamberlain, dated to-day that the total for those ections which closed last Saturday vas 2895, compared with 3172 at the •orresponding period last year. Entries in a few sections had yet to .■lose, while some post entries were jflen received on the grounds for certain classes, and when these were ncluded the aggregate for the whole show should reach nearly 3000. With the detailed figures made available to-day, increased entries are diown in the cattle, sheep, pig, needlework and dog sections, while those lections with smaller numbers are horses, horse competitions, poultry, produce, cooking and preserves, and sundry competitions. The number of fleece entries is exactly the same as last year. Entries tabulated in their various sections, compared with those of last ■/ear, are given below:—

This year’s total is the fourth largest attained by the Poverty Bay \. and P. Association.
