Mr. J. Caradus, district land registrar at New Plymouth, has been appointed Registrar-General of Lands, according to advice received in Auckland. Mr. Caradus served in the Auckland office of the Lands and Deeds Department, before going to Blenheim as district registrar. Mr. Caradus was then stationed at Nelson, and has since been at New Plymouth for a number of years.
