SYDNEY WOOL SALES YORKSHIRE AND EUROPE JAPANESE BIDDING SYDNEY, Oct. 13. At the wool sales to-day, 12,204 bales were offered, and 10,323 were sold. There were 1322 bales Sold piivately. Ordinary dividend is unchanged at 10 per cent, requiring £64,164. Dividends on the 6 per cent and 7A per cent preference shares together require £27,750. Results at the balancing date of the issue of new capital are seen in an increase in capital of £109,933,and share premium reserve of £99,933. Rapid progress with the new building has been made, and at the date of the accounts £441,949 in all had been spent on the property. Finance of the venture has been provided for by the increased capital and by mortgage loans of £350,000.
