The contract for the erection of 10 of the 29 Government houses at Marewa under the Housing Department's scheme, at an approximate cost of £16,000, has been signed by one of the successful Napier contracting firms, Messrs. H. Faulknor, Ltd. The second contractor, Mr. A. Bryan, will sign the contract for the remaining 13 houses within the next few days.
