GOVERNOR OF PUNJAB
FURTHER TWO YEARS (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Oct. 11. The term of appointment of Sir Herbert William Emerson as Governor of the Punjab expires in April. He will thereafter proceed on six months' leave. The King has approved of the reappointment of Sir Herbert for a further two years from the expiry oi his leave. .' Sir Herbert has been Governor of the Punjab since 1933.
