MASS MURDER ACCUSATION
ELDERLY MEN'S DEATH G-MEN CALLED IN NEW YORK, Aug. 18. i G-men were called in to-day to help to unravel the web of death which followed the travels of Mrs. Anna Marie Hahn, a plump Austrian school teacher, who is in Cincinnati gaol charged with poisoning elderly men. The ramifications of this case —incoming as it does the deaths of at least 11 people—became more involved to-day, and the local detectives asked for assistance from Mr. Edgar JHoover, the G.men's chief, and his special squad in the uncovering of some of the woman's activities. At present, Mrs. Halm is indicted on two charges of murder, but the police openly state that they are trying to connect her with numerous other deaths. Mrs. Hahn, an immigrant, lias been in this country several years. She was famous in Cincinnati for her liking to nurse the sick.
