Kopuawhara
The monthly meeting of the Kopuawhara Women's Institute was held in the Y.M.C.A. last Thursday. Despite the wet weather there was a fair attendance of members, and two visitors, Mrs. Thomas and Miss Hatcher. were welcomed. Mrs. Swannell presided. The demonstrator for the meeting was absent so the time was wliiled away pleasantly. The competitions ' resulted: Celophane belt.—Mrs. Pemberton, I. Worked apron.-Mrs. Hutson, I. The hostesses, Mesdames Nugent and Stewart, served a dainty afternoon tea.
