A request has been made to the Government that the two colour films ol the Coronation procession, taken respectively by the Kodak and the Dufay Chromex companies, should be preserved in the National Film Library. They are the first colour films among the records of great historical events, which include a short section of the funeral of Queen Victoria, the Coronation, Silver Jubilee and funeral of King George V, and the complete Coronation newsreels of King George VI.
