GOLD RESERVE OF U.S.A.
ADDITIONS IN SIX YEARS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 1.15 p.m. RUGBY, July 13. In reply to a question in the House of Commons, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sir John Simon, said that the gold reserves of the United States on March ,31 amounted to about 331,000,000 fine ounces, of which about 120,000,000 ounces represented the net addition since September of 1931.
