LONDON WOOL SALES CROSSBREDS IN DEMAND (Reed. July 14, 2 p.m.) LONDON, July 13. At the wool sales, 8132 bales were offered, including 5144 from New Zealand, and 6986 were sold. There was a fair selection, chiefly of New Zealand crossbreds, which sold well at firm rates. New Zealand prices were: Scoured Merinos, Lake, top price 33d, average, 30d; slipe halfbred lambs, Kaiapoi, top 22d, average 2lid.
