Gisborne will be represented at fruitgrowers’ conferences in Hastings next week by Mr. F. T. Kirk, president of the Poverty Bay Fruitgrowers Association, and Mr. P. Everett, orchard instructor. The provincial branch of the Fruit Board will meet on Monday and the provincial branch of the Fruitgrowers’ Federation will hold its conference on Tuesday. The annual Dominion conferences of the board and the federation have been fixed from August 3 to G, and will be held in Wellington.
