OAKLAND, July 12,
Mr. R. H. K. Smith, in an interview, said: “I believe that my brother, Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, is alive because the photographs of the parts of the landing gear off the plane found in Burma show no barnacles or sea growth.
“I believe he is living in the jungle awaiting help.”
