A committee meeting of the Toiaga Bay Rugbv Sub-union was held at the Reynolds‘Hall on Monday evening, those present being Messrs. V. F. Ilurlstone. chairman, B. McCrccdy, N. Sadler, D. Temple. W. Prince, V. Currie and the secretary, Mr. W. Amaru.
The fixtures for Saturday were arranged, when a fifteen selected by Mr H ‘Higgs, the Toiaga Bay selector, will play a fifteen selected by Mr. H. Amaru, the East Coast selector. At this match the representatives will be picked to play Ruatoria at Ruatoria on July 24.
As a curtain-raised the final game between the Country and Hauiti juniors will be played when the junior representatives to play Tawhiti on July 24 will be selected, the match to be plaved at Toiaga Bay. As a return game Toiaga will play the winners of the northern junior championship for the East Coast junior championship. At the match between Country and Hauiti on Saturday, Mr. Lincoln will select -the most advanced junior player as the recipient of the Sadler trophy.
