NGATAPA NEWS
HALL COMMITTEE DANCE (Herald Correspondent.) The Ngatapa Jubilee Hall was the scene of a happy gathering on Saturday evening, the occasion being a dance organised by the Hall Committee. Mr. Wreford Wade’s orchestra supplied the dance music, and enjoyable extras were rendered by Mrs. McKinley. The supper arrangements were in the hands of a capable ladies’ committee, while the duties of M.C. were ably carried out by Mr. J. T. Hamilton.
The following were among those present: Mrs. H. M. White, wearing navy fiat crepe flecked with white; Mrs. A. M. White, Coronation blue cloque crepe; Mrs. J. T. Hamilton, navy Liberty crepe with touches of scarlet, Mrs. G. A. Papworth, Moral flat crepe in brown and orange tonings: Mrs. IT. Campbell, apple green satin; Mrs. D. McKav, powder blue crinkle crepe; Mrs. W. Wade, black satin relieved with white; Mrs. K. Schutz, Marina blue matalasse: Mrs. McKinley, floral Chiffon in cherry and green tonings. Miss O. Allen chose Coronation blue flat crepe relieved with silver; Miss Lister, black chiffon velvet with white coatee; Miss M. Schulz, flowered chiffon in pastel shades; Miss T. Schutz, powder blue lace; Miss O. McGrannachan. floral Liberty crepe in green and gold tonings: Miss M. McGrannachan, dusky pink lace; Miss E. Thompson, primrose georgette and lace; Miss G. Harrison, chocolate brown crepe; Miss E. Hills, rust mnrocain: Miss O. Makarini, blue checked taffeta.
