The Wainui, which is loading for Napier and Gisborne, left Lyttelton yesterday and is expected to leave Wellington this afternoon for Napier. The steamer is due at Gisborne on either Thursday or Friday.
The Kaimai is to load at Greymouth about Saturday next, taking coal, timber and posts for Gisborne and Napier. The Pukeko cicars Auckland this evening for Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier. She is due here on Thursday. .
The Pakura arrived at Gisborne early this mronng from Wellington, via Napier. On completion of discharge and loading this afternoon the ship departs for Lyttelton, to commence loading on Thursday for Napier, Waikokopu, Gisborne and the Coast. The Margaret W. leaves Auckland to-night for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. She is expected to arrive here on Thursday. The Awahou, which left Gisborne yesterday for Napier, is to proceed to Auckland to load coal for East Coast ports. . The Blue Star Line motor ship Australia Star completed her Gisborne loading in the Gisborne roadstead today and sailed tor Auckland, hei final port ot dispatch. The ship is to leave Auckland on Friday for Southampton and London, via Cape Horn. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Huntingdon (Captain A. E. Taylor) arrived at Tokomaru Bay at 7.20 a.m. to-day from Opua and is now loading frozen meat and general cargo for United Kingdom ports. The vessel is expected to sail to-morrow for Napier.
