Of strong appeal will be (he lantern lecture to be given in the Grey Street Gospel Hall to-night by Mr. George Dann, who has just completed a successful six weeks' mission in the Ruatoria district. The theme of Mr. Damn's address will be the life and customs of the Maori people, while he will give also an outline of the Gospel work that is being carried out on the Coast. The lecturer has a collection of interesting slides bearing on Maori work and he has included amongst these pictures several views of Gisborne. Mr Dann is well-known to Gisborne residents, having conducted a mission here about two years ago. In view of Mi-. Damn's visit the meeting which was to be held by Mr. Russell Cameron in the Grey Street Hall to-night has been cancelled and it lias been arranged for the evangelist to hold a service to-morrow night and another on Thursday night.
